Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), in partnership with GMCA and Greater Manchester Police, came to us with an important brief: help young people with SEND learn how to travel independently across Greater Manchester. The ask was to create a series of clear, friendly, and genuinely useful videos covering the bus, tram, and train — as well as how to buy a ticket.

This is exactly the kind of work our team was made for. Several of our videographers and creators understand, from lived experience, how daunting new environments can feel and how much a clear, calm piece of guidance can change that. We worked with students from Oakwood Academy — real young people, on real routes — to make videos that feel authentic rather than scripted. That authenticity matters: when your audience sees someone like them navigating a journey with confidence, it lands differently.

The series covers every stage of the process in accessible, step-by-step detail. The goal was never just to make a nice video. It was to give young people something they could watch, practise with, and genuinely use to build their independence.

“I would recommend working with this team. They delivered high‑quality, punchy videos that young people actually want to watch, and they handled our young people with additional needs brilliantly – they felt comfortable, listened to, and excited to be involved. Considering the quality, professionalism, and social value, it’s been really good value for money.”
